Posting Information for Traveling Wrestlers

Info

I post travel information for any touring woman who does wrestling sessions, or at least some kind of muscle sessions, and who gets me the necessary information. You don't absolutely have to be listed on the list, to have your travel posted, but then I need information on how to contact you to post as well.

The first and most important point for travelers is to check what I post; I do make mistakes. I'll generally send you back a brief e-mail when I've updated your travel information, but sometimes I may forget to do that. It will usually say something like "posted" or "will do." I'm sorry if that seems curt, but I have a lot of stuff to get through. At any rate, after I reply saying I've posted your travel, or after a couple of days pass, take a look at what I've posted for you and let me know if there are mistakes. I don't have a lot of time to make all the postings, so I'm often really flying when I make them, and mistakes happen.

I try and update the travel list every night. But some nights I just don't have time, or sometimes I'm on the road, where I don't have all my files, or even Internet access, and once a while there are technical problems. So try to give me a couple of weeks notice before you travel. Also, e-mail goes astray at times and I have had problems at times with my e-mail server. Put the words "Travel Dates" in the subject of your message, since I generally do travel first. It's amazing how often people put nothing in the subject of their messages, or something meaningless like "Hi." I get a lot of mail, much of it SPAM. Don't assume that I will recognize your e-mail address, tell me who you are - I have too many women on the list to recognize everybody's address.

If after a few days you haven't heard from me, check and see if anything has been posted. If not, tell me again.

It helps me if you send me information in the format that I publish it in. That saves me some editing, and reduces the chances of an error. When I'm busy I do the easy stuff first, and the harder stuff when or if I get around to it. DO NOT SEND ME ANYTHING YOU WANT ME TO POST IN ALL CAPS. That's considered extremely impolite on the Internet, the equivalent of shouting, and I will not post it as caps. Since I have to retype whatever it is, I will move anything I get as all caps to the back of the queue and post it when or if I get around to it.

Dates: I use a full, standard date format such as 2006-09-20 (for September 20, 2006) so please send them in this format. Dates are automatically formatted into text when displayed on the website pages. If you do not include an end date, the end date on the website pages will appear as ???. Examples:

  • 2006-01-15 - 2006-01-17
  • 2006-12-28 - 2007-01-02

Cities, States and Countries: For travel within the US, please include both the city and state. Outside the US, please include both the city and country. If you do not include the state (or country) I will guess, as these are fields the database needs for sorting and display purposes.

Hotels: If you want to tell people where you are staying give me the hotel, it's address (optional) and phone number (optional). If it's actually not in the city limits, of the major city, I'll post the full address with the town, but not usually the zip code. People aren't going to be writing the hotel I'm generally going to post only what it would take a local to find the hotel, not somebody to mail a letter. If you want people to call you at the hotel, give me the hotel phone number. Don't give me an 800-number, those are always reservation numbers.

Example:

  • Betty Bigbiceps, flex@nospam.com, 240-123-4567
    • Aug 10-13: Washington, DC (Virginian Suites in Arlington, 703-522-9600)
    • Aug 28-31: New York, NY (book by Aug. 27)

I don't post all your contact information with the travel information; rather I post a link back to your page on the list along with your e-mail address(es) and phone number(s). I do post comments for a particular trip. I don't usually post times when you are in your home base, as much as women would like me to do so, because then the list would get out of hand. I have listings by location to identify which girls are resident in specific places.

I recommend that frequent travelers get a cell phone, with a national plan, and I'll post that rather than the hotel phone to contact customers, to help keep a low profile. It may still make sense, however to also post a hotel number, even if you have a cell phone, because mobiles don't always work well in particular locations.
